Just use Fitday on a computer

This is such a disappointment. The previous version was better. The interface is very slow. Fitday on the computer is slow, I assume because it accesses a large database. I pay the premium fee to avoid ads. It is a lot easier on the computer than the app.

Latest upgrades made good app awful

The old version worked well. The new version is incredibly slow, complicated, and unstable. One of worst, most unreliable apps I have experienced. Does this company actually test their apps before releasing them?

Good but could be better

It is a handy app to track what you eat. Getting the food in there is a bit time consuming at first because 1) the search function is not robust and 2) it does not include most restaurant food. But you can enter your own food and nutrition info and it remembers what you have entered. Once you have used it for a week it is easy to say, the same breakfast as yesterday morning. One big (for me) thing is that on the nutrition summary page fat consumed is not summarized -- carbs, fiber, protein, every vitamin you can think of all are summarized but not fat. I also wish I could enter my own calorie goal for the day instead of having the app figure it for me. But for basic food tracking it is quite helpful.

Very unusable app

I cant even get the app to download to my phone. Ito my allows me to "open" it but I am unable to log anything because it automatically closes on me and when I reopen it it does the same thing again. Very frustrating since I have been using the computer app for years! Not iOS compatible on my end.

Extremely disappointed

I am a long-time user of the FitDay app. All of the features that you now must pay for in the premium version used to be available in the regular app. I will no longer be using it. Im very disappointed because I have all of my custom foods and information already logged from multiple years of use. Shameful.

Piece of crap

After I put in my vitals I was not even able to get to the next section. I did it three times because its such a good idea but in order for it to be a good app it has to work.

Ehhh

Its simple but it could use some more relative things to go along with it.

$10.99 to record your weight?!?

Ive used fitday for a long time and Ive generally liked the simplicity of the website but always wished there were more foods and that the app could use help, but I absolutely cannot believe that you cant even RECORD YOUR WEIGHT without paying $10.99!!! That is so absurd! And you can do it for free on the site. What a useless garbage app.

Got BUGS ? ? ( FitDay does )

1) Ive used free online version for years. Helpful? Yes, but Ive caught it miscalculating nutrient totals. Inputting flat numeric values of supplements should NOT result in inaccurate totals. I emailed them & they didnt bother to respond. Poor product support or poor company attitude? 2) got the app. Basic free version. Helpful? Yes. But it kicks me out & I have to re-enter over again. ALSO, certain foods such as my favorite cereal cannot be entered as ounces. I just input " 3 ounces " and the calculation shows " 17,860 calories. " So I can only input it by serving size. And it does that with other food products, too. 3) FitDay is very clean in its design look. Easy to read and navigate. Helpful? Yes. Buggy? YES !!!

Was good many years ago, now terrible

Full of bugs and intrusive ads these days. You dont have to look far to find better apps that do the same thing.

Wow. VERY disappointed! Not worth a download!

How this app is still even listed here still is beyond. UX is lacking and its basically completely shutting out any desktop activities users have had - and that is for years, 5+ years for some of us to be exact. Very disappointed to see that they locked mobile app for being used without the paid premium services. This sort of App market is highly competitive and theyre going to lose views left and right to fresher, more relevant/younger designs that cover costs by in app ads vs premium subscriptions. Disappointing, bad customer pipelining and not a good experience.

Buggy!!!

Cant write a detailed review as the app crashes every time I try to enter in my food intake.

Interface needs improvement

Here are some problems Ive discovered after using the app only a few times. 1. The main screen that shows the foods youve entered wastes too much space. Each line has a huge pic of a dinner plate with silverware and napkin. No need to repeat this for every entry. 2. When I search for a food item the results overflow the width of my screen and I cannot scroll to see the entire text. The screen will not rotate either. Way too much wasted time tapping on an item only to have to go back and try another item in the list to see the entire entry. 3. I would be happy to pay for additional features but the app requires payment for features that are free on the Fitday website. Why?

This app is dumb

The app requires premium subscription to do anything besides track food. It is really dumb since on the website with adds I can use the exact same account and add anything I want. Really stupid that the app requires premium but the website is free. Even if Fitday charged me like 10 dollars, if it was to buy the app in full without adds, I would be willing to do it. But having me subscribe to this when I can use the website free with adds is really dumb.

Have to pay to do anything

Horribly disappointed in this app. It might as will be marketed as $10.99! Thats what you have to pay to do anything.
